whos first?

whats first on your priority list? sports? friends? facebook? twitter? what should it be?
 it SHOULD be god! god should come first no matter what! no matter how much sports means to you or your favorite TV show..you wouldn't have any of that if it wasn't for god? someone made a point to me this past week..how come we manage to put everything before god? if we have a sports game to go to or a game to watch on TV or need to check our facebook how come that always has to be done then and there and come before god? materialistic items..the one thing that's eternal and WILL last forever we manage to forget about.. not anymore. if you have a game or something and you know you have it or need to do it then plan ahead put god back in HIS number 1 spot! pray before a game read your bible every night..instead of sleeping in on Sundays wake your lazy butt up and go to church! you make it a point to be at all your games or important events and to not be late make it a point to be at church and NOT be late..god wants all of you or none of you..one thing he dislikes is a lukewarm christian. rearrange YOUR priority list and make it RIGHT!(:

thanksgiving..of course(

so today is thanksgiving. I'm challenging you to stop thinking about all the yummy food you're going to eat today and think why are we even eating this food? what does this holiday really represent? it is to be THANKFUL. for what you have to stop being greedy and be content realize that no matter how good or bad you have it you will always have at least one thing that someone in this world would kill to have.. be thankful for your loved ones..don't ever feel alone there are plenty of people who love you..and then there is god.(: he loves you UNCONDITIONALLY! he sent his son to die on the cross for you! be thankful that you have that chance to always be forgiven.(: be thankful that god made you who you are.(: and realize that there is a purpose for that.(: so all in all be thankful for...well..everything!(: but don't forget to thank god for he is the creator of all things to be thankful for.(:

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

give up?..should you?..

give up? NEVER! Ive been in so many situations where Ive felt like i should just quit..that it didn't matter..that maybe things would be better.. but i found that god wants us to keep going..if it hurts then it hurts he knows whats best! and he knows what he is doing. if we have the courage to keep pushing forward then he will give us the strength to get through it! he will always be right beside us..and giving up means you never tried so how would you know if you could succeed? don't ruin those chances of success you could have..those moments and accomplishments that could make your life SO much better!(: you have to believe in yourself<3 you have to KNOW that he has his plan for you. and hes not making you go through whatever it is just so you can give up and quit.. never give up.." you're taking yourself out of the game before you even have the chance to be taken out.."

does it ever amaze you how miles and miles away you can still see the light of a lighthouse? that's because it is so BRIGHT!. a lighthouse light is like god.. even if your far away you can always look to it or him for guidance(: it will always lead you back to shore..just like god will always lead you back to the right path(: you FOLLOW the light so follow god!(: things can only get better from there(: remember that in times of darkness he is always the one who shines bright<3 be the one to follow the light and take the right path! don't follow in the direction of others..they will only lead you deeper into the sea of darkness.

a house or a home?

do you live in a house? or do you live in a home? some people might say there is no difference? or they don't understand the difference? i beg to differ. and I'm here to explain.
a house. is just a thing. a structure where people live and continue their daily routines. a home is a place where people join together as a family. it is a place of LOVE. a place of care..acceptance..togetherness..where you should always feel safe. where their is respect! team work..where each person finds the time to work wit each other and make their HOME strong.. make everything run smoothly..bring your family closer..make them stronger..join as one. so now you can say you don't live in a house.. you live in a home(:

log lines(:

log lines is something i learned about in youth. its like a one sentence summary of something usually used for movies..but you also have a log line for your life! a sentence or 2 that represents how your whole life has been or even just a section of it.. it could even be a motto.. whats your log line? some people have bad log lines from bad areas of their life..but that can change.. you CAN rewrite your log line.. and start over.. a fresh beginning.. a lot of times when people come to Christ they REWRITE their log line for the better. my log line has been the same all my life pretty much and i don't intend on changing it.. my log line is DON'T FEAR.. you cant go anywhere in life if you're too afraid to even try..you cant succeed if your afraid to fail.. whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.. also i know that GOD is always with me.so i don't have to worry because i know its all part of gods plan. and that if he lead me to it he will lead me through it(: so think... whats your log line? does it need rewritten?

people think that just because they don't get what they want that gods not real? that he doesn't care about you just because he didn't give you what you wanted? well he IS real and he DOES care about you! hes not here to give you everything you want..hes here to give you everything you NEED. he loves you! he sent is ONLY son to die.. for YOU don't ever think that he doesn't care.. he knows whats best for you and he has a PLAN. so don't stop praying and don't lose faith.. he will answer your prayers and give you what you need.. be content with that.. even if you think he doesn't.. he HEARS you(:

it really..bothers me how people always say they want to do this and they want to do that and never even try..
you can dream all you want but your never gonna reach those goals or dreams unless you get MOTIVATED and decide to actually try.."you cant succeed if you're afraid to fail"
things that you want aren't just going to fall from the sky like rain..you have to go after them..you have to WANT them.. don't  think you got it..go get it!(:
motivation is believing in yourself..having faith..and reassuring yourself that you at least have the strength and courage to try.

life can be like a doughnut..its simple..
 a doughnut has a hole in the middle right? well that's you when you don't have Christ in your heart.
it leaves a part of you open.. a piece of your heart empty.. so its time to FILL that hole! with Jesus(: not with some boy or some girl that you think you love..or those really cool materialistic things.. with something that is eternal..

so think about why you feel so empty..and fix that problem(: its simple enough!

so many people for some reason do not love their self? it makes no sense. each and every person has something great about them that everyone loves! so why do you not like yourself? just because you don't think your pretty doesn't mean you're not.. everyone is beautiful just in their own way(: getting down on yourself for your outer appearance is a waste of your time..you're wasting time on something that doesn't even matter..its the INSIDE everyone always says that and people refuse to believe but you cant be judgemental of someones outer appearance.. beauty starts within.. let Christ in your heart..when he begins to do work it shows..it glows inside..then it reaches your skin..you have this beautiful glow that makes you MORE beautiful than any of those preps at your school..the ones who don't have Christ in them? LOVE YOURSELF you cant love anyone else if you don't love yourself.. stop being so insecure..it drives me crazy when people try with everything they have to fit in..god didn't make us to fit in.. he made us to STAND OUT. so stop trying! for me when i stopped trying to fit in and realized i wanted to be my own person..life actually got BETTER people respect you for your originality and wanting to stand out..even if they're to afraid to admit it..they wish that they could be like YOU but they're to scared to step down from popularity cloud 9 and become different.. I'm not the most popular but I'm not at the bottom..but I'm not gonna be just like everyone else..and i think everyone knows me for that (: so just give it a Chance..you don't have to be someones back up plan..be yourself and find your true friends..and love yourself(: you'll then find many other people that love you too(:

so Say with Jesus in your heart YOU are the Sun(: you shine so bright and light up the whole world. you change the world.(: but then..sin begins to fill in..well sin are the clouds! they get in and they cover up your light! that's how it really works.. when you begin to fall for temptation your light begins to dim and be covered up.
DON'T let sin take over DON'T let it cover up your light! OVERCOME sin! keep god in your heart he will always be right beside you! if he lead you to it he will lead you through it(:
push those clouds away and light the sky for everyone to see(:

greedyy muchh?(:

why does everyone have to be so greedy? cant you be content with what you have?
especially the ones who are fairly wealthy you always want MORE and then you get it and it just sits there..or it breaks? GOD is everything you need! he will supply you with ALL of your needs! and if you'd learn to be a little more content and be satisfied he might give you some of your wants as well. I'm tired of seeing everyone paying 200 dollars for shoes and 300 dollars for phones? when they're are people and kids our own age out there starving! they don't even have what they NEED! its so not fair to them how people just completely ignore them like they don't exist.. if your not gonna give them nice things or money? at least give them 1 thing! .give them the word of god! witnessing to someone less fortunate then you CAN  change they're life..lead them to better things..lead teenager away from things like gangs and drugs.. it can SAVE their life.
so next time your at the store and you see something that you want..think..do i NEED it..be content!

golden streets..

 golden streets? no other then the place we call heaven:)

 heaven? how are you going to get there? most people who aren't in an active and strong relationship with god think that just doing good for the world will take you to heaven. it is so much MORE than that.being a "goody two shoes" isn't going to get you there. yes god expects you to he nice and do the right thing but he knows you will mess up sometimes. because you're NOT perfect. to get to heaven you have to BELIEVE! there is this little thing called your ABC's not the alphabet and not "already been chewed gum" but
A- admit.- admit that you are a sinner you cant hide from that because everyone sins.
B- believe! that you are a child of god! that Jesus died on the cross and sacrifice himself for YOU for your sin!and rose from the grave and trusting HIM to be in control of your life.
C- confess! that Jesus IS your lord! hes your god and hes YOUR savior.(:
-how nice would it be to know that when you die you could go to a beautiful place called heaven and gain NEW life. where there is NO suffering? think about It(:

john 3:16- for GOD so loved the world that he gave his ONLY begotten son that whosoever BELIEVED in him shall not perish but have EVERLASTING life!

john 14:6 " i am the way the truth and the light. no one comes to the father except through me."

john 15:9 "if you belonged to the world it would love you as its own. as it is you do not belong to the world, but,  i have chosen you out of the world. that is why the world hates you."

so if your living a life of sin and you think that no one is there for you and there is no way to make your life better.. there is..go to the lord. he can make miracles happen! he can make mountains move..you have his trust and grace.. and you have my prayers.

us Christians are supposed to make the world a better place. take as many with us to heaven as we possibly can. but how are we fulfilling our duties if we are not WITNESSING and spreading around the word of Christ?
many people feel like they have NO ONE like they have to GIVE UP on life itself. they should never have to feel that way. even if you feel like no ones there? GOD is always there right beside you. the easiest way to help people come to Christ is MISSIONARY WORK this summer at my camp we did recreation. we did a basketball camp for kids. its so easy to interact with people especially if they're your own age. put smiles on their faces! and your they're friend! and they begin to listen to you and WATCH what you do. missionary work is a great way to interact and bring people to Christ through EVERYDAY LIFE! it also helps bring YOU closer to god! so if you want to reach out and become more faithful missionary work is a GREAT way! need ideas on how you can help or what kind of missionary work would be good for you? email me.

think about love.(:

it is so easy now days for people to just start liking someone. 

they usually are basing it just on looks then a few days later they are in "love" with them.

love goes so much deeper than just looks! i mean do you think god loves you because of your looks? of course not! yes he thinks each and everyone of us is beautiful but he also loves us because we are his children!

so when you think you are really in love with someone. take a step back and look at WHY you love them.

are your personalities compatible? do THEY make  you HAPPY? do YOU make them happy? can you honestly see yourself with them in a couple of years? and before you fall in love.. make sure that YOU have CONTROL. so many people let the ones they '"love" control them like they are their pet. consider it. would you like to be someones pet? remember how god loves you. and what god says about LOVE.

"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love." 1 John 4:18

stronger

this particular blog is for if your going through a touch time and need strength to carry on.
 don't ask god to make life easier. ask him to make you a stronger person! taking the easy way out might be convenient to you but it wont always lead you down the right path. think about your choices AND their consequences. if you're struggling right now to make it through the day. here's some lyrics that might help you out.

think about it. GROW as a person. don't ask for god to take it easy ask to be STRONGER!

so god give me strength<3 i have to be point guard..which means i have to "run the show" i need strength to get through and motivation to get better but most of all i need you by my side.
i have faith that you'll be there and i have confidence that i CAN succeed. after all my journey is just beginning.

i seem to be having alot of bad days..i feel like going back to that time where i hid..from life.
but i cant i think of god and i think of you and everything gets better<3
im tired of showing everyone my fake smile. im gonna be legit. even if it means hurting some others. im not being selfish but i cant stand being this unhappy anymore
