I'm Back!

Hi! It's been a while since I last blogged but I have recently decided to start blogging again. I'm not sure how often I will be blogging but I will try to post at least once or twice a month. suicide awareness.

Today was suicide awareness/prevention day.  Over 34, 000 people commit suicide  a year.  Approximately every fifteen minutes someone dies from suicide. Nearly 1,000,000 attempt suicide every year. Suicide is the sixth leading cause of death for ages five to fourteen. It's also the third leading cause of death for ages fifteen to twenty-four. It can be prevented though. A lot of times people are hurt. They are crying out for help but don't know how else to get it! Some people just don't feel loved. They should NEVER feel like that. You are always loved, it doesn't matter if it you're loved by your peers or anyone else. All that matters is that God loves you and so does his son. His son died for YOU. That's how much he loves you. So if you are ever feeling like maybe you're not good enough or no one loves you remember Jesus died for you so that your sins could be forgiven and you could live with him eternally in a place called heaven. You are ALWAYS loved. Also the first thing you think of when you hear of teen suicide, you think of bullying.  If you go look it up on the Internet there are TONS of stories of teens who commit suicide every year because they were BULLIED. God says to LOVE EACH OTHER AS HE LOVES YOU. Not to judge others but to see them like he does, as a beautiful and wonderful child of God. Differences are differences that is how God made them , and God makes NO mistakes. So why do we still persecute them? Every person is a child of God. So as you go on through the rest of not just your school years but through the rest of your life remember that God sees EVERYONE as beautiful and wonderful human beings and he loves every single one of them.  Try to see people through God's eyes. Don't judge. If you see someone being bullied or hear someone making fun of someone TAKE A STAND. They may be too afraid to stand up for them self. Maybe they need YOUR help! You never know, you might have just saved their life. WE ARE ALL EQUAL. It's about time we act like it.

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. - Matthew 7:1-5

There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? -James 4:12

Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.  -1 John 3:15-16

schools back!

School is back and we all know how hard it is fighting temptations and resisting peer pressure.
I was just listening to the song "Marvelous Light" and it made me think, I'm not doing a very good job and showing my faith at school and acting like i should. I seem to fall into some kind of sin everyday but hearing this song was just what i needed. "Sin has lost its' power".  Sin has lost its' power and death has lost its' sting.   I know that with God I can be the christian I need to be in school and outside of it. With God anything is possible. PRAYER. FAITH. HEART. If you want to change your actions you have to do it with your heart. You have to want it with everything in you, to be different. To be a TRUE christian. Earlier in the year when i was having trouble with this my friend sent me this. " Prayer is a sin killer. a sick healer. a power giver. a victory gainer. a blessing promoter. keep on praying YOU have the power within." Be BOLD don't  be scared to be the one who doesn't use profanity or doesn't do drugs. Be the one who loves God and not only wants but IS going to be in heaven with the creator of earth someday.

its been a while Ive been super busy and I'm trying to work on my relationship with Christ. I don't think I'm going to post everyday maybe once or twice a week. but i still would like suggestions what to blog about! so any specific things you would like me to blog about just email me!

love...its like a disease..and everyone is caught it..valentines day comes around and all you see is flowers...chocolates and stuffed teddy bears...yeah its nice to be loved and get those things..but  you get so caught up in it that you don't realize the love that really matters...the one that loves you the most..love from the one who gave his life for you. consider Jesus your valentine.(: hes a present from god.(: he gives you way more than chocolate and flowers could ever add up to..and you don't have to wait for that one day of the year to get it..its absolutely eternal.(:

So this is just a poem I made up..something to think about.(:

what is a hero?...
you are a hero.
I look up to you
if only I had a clue..
how to live my life right.
to live my life for you.
you do much more than save.
you cure, you heal..
you mend broken hearts
even those that have taken darts..
you give me something to live for.
you give me a goal to reach.
I know I'm not perfect..
I never will be..
but I know how I act.
and I'm trying to change it.
I'm trying to live up to your expectations.
to what you deserve.

so you know when you're taking a shower and the water isn't quite hot or cold? well that's called lukewarm. The same concept can be connected with Christianity and religion. are you a lukewarm christian? do you put on your church smile every Sunday and or Wednesday? do you believe in Jesus and that he died on the cross for your sins? but then go out in public or school with friends and act up and do drugs or swear or just sin and not even care? there's nothing more that god dislikes than a "lukewarm christian" he either wants ALL of you or none of you? of course he'd prefer all.(;
being a lukewarm christian is basically being religious but not spiritual..you "follow the rules" that the bible gives you and that are i guess you could say expected in life but by doing that you might be distracted and not think about Jesus and believe in his whole story as in depth. sometimes you get too caught up in religion and following the rules and "looking" like a solid christian and you're really growing apart from god&&Jesus. in a way you're being blinded..but Jesus is the reason you see :) i recently saw this video and just thought everyone else should see it as well.(:
